Bockasjö and Next Step Group form joint venture – investing SEK 2 billion in the development of a major logistics area, Link53 in Nyköping.

The investment comprises approximately 210,000 square meters of modern and sustainable logistics properties in a strategic location on highway 53/E4 in Nyköping.

Link53 is being developed as a cohesive logistics hub with a clear focus on efficiency, sustainability and future-proof solutions. The project covers an area of ​​40 hectares, equivalent to approximately 60 football fields, and creates the conditions for both large and small logistics players to establish themselves in a strategic location with high accessibility.

Bockasjö and Next Step Group have extensive and documented experience of the type of projects that Link53 represents, i.e.: major land developments, infrastructure impact, logistics and business areas and collaboration with strong tenants.

The combination of Next Step Group as an urban developer and Bockasjö with its unique expertise in future logistics properties is driving the project forward with strong execution, credibility and pace in a way that neither party could have done on their own.

Link53 is the second project within the Link Group, the collaboration Next Step Group and Bockasjö. The parties have previously also developed Link40 in Härryda municipality outside Gothenburg, a logistics area comprising approximately 250,000 square meters of modern and sustainable logistics properties in one of West Sweden’s strongest logistics locations. The Link Group is a platform for strategically located logistics locations in Sweden.
